Day 1 :
Sunday - Tel-Aviv
Overnight flight to
Tel-Aviv.
Day 2 : Monday - Tel Aviv -
Jerusalem
Arrival at Ben
Gurion Airport. Meeting and
assistance and transfer to
Jerusalem for overnight.
Day 3 : Tuesday - Jerusalem
Drive to Mt. Scopus
for a view of Jerusalem. Then to
the Garden of Gethsemane and the
Church of the Agony. Drive to Mt.
Zion for a visit to the tomb of
King David, the Room of the Last
Supper and Dormition Abbey.
Sightseeing in the New City
including the Israel Museum's
Shrine of the Book with its
famous Dead Sea Scrolls, the
Knesset (the Parliament), the
Hebrew University campus, Mt.
Herzl and Yad Vashem (the
memorial to the six million Jews
that were killed during the
Holocaust). Visit the model of
the Herodian city of Jerusalem
dating back to the time of the
Second Temple. Continue to the
Hadassah Medical Centre to visit
the synagogue with its Marc
Chagall stained-glass windows.
Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 4 : Wednesday - Jerusalem
Walk through the
Yaffa Gate to the Old City: the
renewed Jewish Quarter, the
Western Wall, the Temple area,
the colorful bazaars, Via
Dolorosa, and the Church of the
Holy Sepulchre. Continue to
Bethlehem to visit Rachel's tomb
and the Church of the Nativity.
Return to Jerusalem for
overnight. BD
Day 5 : Thursday - Jerusalem /
Galilee
Leave Jerusalem.
Drive via Bethany to Jericho, the
oldest city in the world. Visit
the excavations and then continue
northward via the Jordan Valley
and the new settlements to Beit
Shean. After a short visit
proceed to Tiberias, the old
centre of Jewish learning. Drive
along the shores of the Sea of
Galilee to Capernaum to visit the
ruins of the ancient synagogue.
Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for
overnight. BD
Day 6 : Friday - Galilee
Drive to the Golan
Heights. Visit the former Syrian
fortification, Birkat Ram and the
Druse villages. Via Banias,
source of the Jordan River.
Proceed to Kiryat Shmona and the
Hula Valley to Safed, city of the
Kabbalah, to visit the old
synagogue and the artists' colony
and then to Nazareth to visit the
Christian holy sites. Return to
the Kubbutz hotel for overnight. BD
Day 7 : Saturday - Galilee /
Tel-Aviv
Leave the Kibbutz
hotel for Acre to visit the old,
famous Crusader stronghold and
medieval fortifications. Continue
to Haifa, sightseeing tour of
Haifa, including the Bahai
Shrine, Persian Garden and Mt.
Carmel for a panoramic view of
the city. Proceed southwards to
Caesarea to visit the Roman
theater and the Crusader
fortress. Drive via Natanya to
Tel Aviv for overnight. BD
Day 8 : Sunday - Tel- Aviv
Day at leisure in
Tel-Aviv, or optional excursions
to the Dead Sea and Massada.
Overnight in Tel-Aviv. BD
Day 9 : Monday - Tel-Aviv / USA
Transfer to Ben
Gurion Airport for return flight.
